Normen vrij beschikbaar gesteld voor Coronavirus

De snelle verspreiding van het coronavirus (Covid-19) wereldwijd vraagt om uitzonderlijke maatregelen, zowel voor overheden, bedrijven als consumenten. De standaardisatie-wereld wil uiteraard bijdragen aan het faciliteren van oplossingen om de tekorten aan medische hulpmiddelen tegen te gaan. Na overleg met de Europese Commissie hebben de Europese normalisatie organisaties, verenigd in het Europese instituut CEN-CENELEC, besloten diverse normen voor persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen en medische hulpmiddelen ter inzage vrij te geven.
